The Project:

I began my process with low-fidelity napkin sketches from the current SCBWI website before working on any final ideas.

UX Research and Study:

The main areas I found that needed improvement were the navigation due ti its overwhelming and extensive nature and the homepage which doesn't show the audience clearly.

At first glance the current website wants authors and illustrators to join but misses an opportunity for its other audience, those seeking illustrators and authors a welcome message.

Problem:

As an illustrator, my biggest problem with joining the SCBWI is exposure. How would I get exposure if it wasn't a priority on the website?
